AirAsia is taking 20 per cent off the price of all seats on all flights for 72 hours.

The low cost carrier is putting its entire network on sale – including its hugely popular London, Paris and Bali routes, and Thailand, Vietnam, India and China, from April 6 to 8. The booked travel must be taken between April 9 and May 26.

AirAsia X head of commercial Darren Wright said the sale was one of the airline’s most popular.

“We’ve decided to slash our already low prices by a further 20 per cent for 72 hours only, so if you’ve been thinking about a break now is the perfect time to grab a cheap fare,” he said.

“And with the Australian dollar scaling new peaks, there’s never been a better time to tick some must-see overseas destinations off your to-do list.

“AirAsia flies direct from the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth to Kuala Lumpur, from where passengers can easily connect to every major destination in Asia and further afield including London and Paris.”

Other on sale destinations include Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, New Delhi, Mumbai, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, Chengdu, Bangkok and Chiang Mai

Travellers can also fly from Darwin to Bali, from where they can easily connect to a range of destinations including Phuket, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, London and Paris.

The 20 per cent discount also applies to the Premium Economy class Flat Bed seats.

The seats have standard business class specifications and feature universal power sockets, adjustable headrests and built-in personal utilities such as tray table, drink holder, reading light and privacy screen. Premium seat guests also enjoy premium complimentary products and services including Pick A Seat, Priority Check-in, Priority Boarding, Priority Baggage, Baggage Allowance, Combo Meal and Comfort Kit.

AirAsia, the leading and largest low-cost carrier in Asia, services the region’s most extensive network with 139 routes covering 76 destinations in Asia, Australia and Europe.
