The Challenge of Change

July 18, 2011

The Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Pattaya’s largest and best convention venue, Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) will be transformed into a hub of activity as the official headquarters of the forthcoming prestigious 2011 Asia Pacific Golf Summit, which will be held from 31st October – 6thNovember 2011. This award-wining hotel group and PEACH will play host to all the annual conference and exhibitions organized by the Asia Pacific Golf Development Conferences (APGDC).

The Asia Pacific Golf Summit has established a reputation for showcasing a conference programme that is both very current and relevant to the rapidly expanding needs of the booking golf industry in the region. This year, the Summit will focus on issues designed to ensure that the Asia Pacific does not make the same mistakes of the more mature golf markets by over-developing too quickly and by not paying attention to growing the game of golf and making it more playable and accessible to a larger pool of potential golfers.

Given the broad perspective on matters impacting the golf industry in the Asia Pacific, this is a great opportunity for golf course and resort owners or managers, golf architects or designers, government representatives, council authorities, and parties involved in golf developments and associated with the golf industry.

The theme for the 2011 Summit is ‘The Challenge of Change!” with the following event dates:-

31st October – 2nd November 2011

2011 Asia Pacific Golf Summit

2011 Golf Course Superintendents of Asia Summit

3rd – 4th November 2011

2011 PGA Conference of Asia

4th – 6th November 2011

A star-studded cast of international speakers and panelists have confirmed their attendance. One such celebrity is former world number one tennis superstar, Jimmy Connors, who will share a top billing with golf legend Tony Jacklin; who is also a special celebrity guest speaker at the Summit.
