Malaysian Airlines adds extra Phuket flight
Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, will increase flights from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur to four daily effective 1 June.
To serve growing passenger demand, the airline announced, Monday, it will increase frequency from three to four flights daily.
Due to start 1 June, the additional flight will depart Phuket at 0615 and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 0845.
The airline said the additional flight will help passengers to transfer to morning flights destined for Brisbane, London, Melbourne, Bali as well as Langkawi.
The additional service is good news for Phuket residents. It gives them more options to connect with international services through the Kuala Lumpur hub. Also as flights from to and from Singapore increase, Phuket residents will be able to tap three major airline hubs in the region; Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok, Changi Airport Singapore and Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The options broaden as more services are offered by Middle East Airlines from Phuket, to hubs in the Middle East.
