Encroachers on Phuket’s Naithon Beach bow to the inevitable

July 9, 2014

As the spotlight shone this morning on the clearing of Patong Beach, there was also activity further north, at Naithon Beach.

There, camouflage-uniformed officers from the Department of National Parks (DNP) in Phang Nga, drafted in for the day, helped beach encroachers to pull down their illegal bars and restaurants.
